Faculty are the backbone of any education system  and all processes of Higher education, namely teaching,  learning and assessment were  centered around faculty quality  and their availability. 

Though there are no universal data is available, the percentage of faulty related expenses have been steadily going down  showing that the faculty resource is under severe strain. 

PGDM  institutions show  a perceptible  tendency to incentivise faculty learning  and knowledge exchange  and as an association that is dedicated to PGDM institutions, it is  necessary for the IAABS focus on faculty related research, development & policy related issues and conduct periodic faculty development programmes under the association aegis. 

QUALITY BENCHMARKING FOR FACULTY  IN  COVID TIMES 

Covid 19 has drastically altered the Education processes  at all levels of learning be it kindergarten or PhD. Also on a positive note, it has also brought  digital intervention  in a big way  in a very short period of time among especially higher education institutions including Business Education. 

IAABS being a pioneering B-school association committed to the advance the cause of quality among the PGDM schools would be providing  advanced  faculty development programmes  in frontier areas of teaching, pedagogy and assessment  and will also be instituting faculty awards  for  pedagogic innovations, course development & Rubrics in association with reputed  education quality  advocacy institutions such as SEAA Trust, New Delhi and scores of Accreditation institutions.
